    Literacy Counselor: Work with adult students, teaching them to read and do basic math, assist them with GED preparation and high school completion.
  • 1980-1989 Kiddie Korner Day Care, Blanding Utah
    Owned and operated my own day care business: worked with children, parents, supervised other teachers and did purchasing and billing.
  • 1970-1971 Crooks Drapery, Provo Utah
    Worked in an assembly line, pressing and sewing
  • 1967-1970 Gigante, Buenos Aires, Argentina
    Managed the children shoe section: worked with customers, did ordering and worked in the stock room

  • 1990 Started a child care program at CEU-SJC

  • 1996 Wrote Early Child Curriculum for Star School

  • 1996 Wrote grant for funds from the Utah Office of Childcare
    received $5,000 to be used at childcare center
  • 1997 Wrote grant for school age child care program. It was awarded for 3 years
    for a total amount of $ 60,000.
  • 1997 Wrote a grant for Social Services Block Grant Discretionary Funding. It was
    awarded $ 5,902.00 for early intervention for at-risk mothers.
  • 1998 Received The Utah State Adult Teacher Award.
  • 1998 Wrote a grant for Social Services Block Grant Discretionary Funding. It was
    awarded $ 5,902.00 for early intervention for at-risk mothers.
  • 1998- 1999 Created and managed a summer program for school age children to be
    operated under the school age grant.
  • 1998 - Received special recognition from the Utah State office of child-care
  • 1999 Worked under the request of Mrs. Leavitt on the Gift Conference in Salt Lake City also coordinated, setting up and managing a conference site in Blanding.
  • 2000 Participated in the development of an Early Childhood Department brochure.
  • 2000 Wrote Job Skills course presentation. For Star Schools
  • 2000 to present- Working in a project to place a "You are My Child" video in homes of new parents in San Juan County, under grant received from Social Services Discretionary funds.
